"If
you're looking for some quiet country romancing, look no further than
the Pine River Ranch. This charming 1940's ranch house is located about
14 miles west of the town center, which makes it feel worlds away from
the tourist-filled street of downtown Leavenworth.
The Ponderosa and it's kissing cousin,
Lodgepole... We highly recommend
these for the supreme privacy. Both these suites boast vaulted
ceilings, richly colored linens draped over mammoth log beds, spacious
tiled Jacuzzi tubs nestled in cozy corners, and river-rock hearths with
gas fireplaces. Private entrances and small kitchenettes (complete with
espresso machines) ensure your sense of self-sufficiency and seclusion."

Eric and I wanted to thank you for
your kindness during our stay with you guys at the ranch.
All the extra touches (the card/banner etc) really made our
1 year anniversary special! We loved our stay in the "Nason
Suite" and enjoyed everything at the ranch. Thanks! Your
breakfasts were amazing! We can't stop raving about the
apples w/ French toast. The stuffed bear was hilarious, how Marlena repositioned him in our room--we got a kick out of
the humor.

Thank you making
our weekend one of the most memorable experiences of our lives! Your
home and land are beautiful. The accommodations are certainly hard to
match anywhere else. The food was beyond our expectations and the room
was cozy and romantic. I couldn't have asked for a better place for
Cecil to propose. We are on our way to Japan, but if we ever get
the opportunity to head back out that way, we will definitely be staying
with you! Thank you again for your hospitability.

Thank you so much for
such a wonderful stay! You have a beautiful place and have
left no detail unnoticed. We had a n amazing time and plan
on coming back in the winter to play in the snow. Thank you

Hi Tim & Bunnie!
I just wanted to say thank you so much! I fell in love with
the ranch as soon as Bailey greeted Daniel and I. The
grounds were so beautiful, and we were very impressed with
the room. Like I said, the pictures on your website didn't
do it justice! I will never forget my romantic getaway, and
I look forward to coming back for another visit in the
future! Thanks for helping Daniel create a "perfect
proposal" I was very surprised! I have already told a ton of
my friends and family that they need to come check out your
ranch!

Steve and I
just fell in love with your B&B this past weekend! This is
only the 2nd time we have been away by ourselves as a couple
(in ten years) and it was worth the wait. The suite was
better than expected. I did a lot of research on your
website before deciding which suite I wanted to reserve. We
were greeted with a banner that said Happy Anniversary and a
card with a picture of our room and a warm greeting. Nice
touch! The jetted tub was so relaxing. The chocolate covered
strawberries and champagne was the icing on the cake. My
husband is a chocolate connoisseur and he thought that the
chocolate that you used was of high quality. The
strawberries were sweet and perfect, every one! What a way
to get the weekend started! I don't think anything in life
is better than relaxing in that tub eating those
strawberries and drinking champagne! The bed was very comfy,
not too hard, not too soft. There were plenty of pillows
for added comfort. I loved the wood bed! The breakfasts
were incredible! The portions were hearty and tasted
amazing. It was fun to just roll out of bed in pajamas and
eat without having to get dressed first. We had some
champagne left over the first night, so we were pleasantly
surprised to have OJ for breakfast. We made mimosas! I must
say that the one thing that made us smile the most was after
we came back to our suite after it was cleaned up. The teddy
bear was positioned to watch TV on the love seat. He had the
remote right next to him along with some of our M&Ms that we
brought. He also had our iPod earphones in his ears. He was
so cute! I included a picture with this email for your
amusement. We took several of your brochures and we have
started to pass them out to friends. Even though we waited
almost 10 years to take a romantic weekend, we won't wait
that long next time. We hope to make this a yearly tradition
for our anniversary! Thank you, thank you, thank you
for an AMAZING tenth anniversary get-a-way!!

Hi, It's
Jessica. Mike and I stayed in the Ponderosa suite this
lasted weekend. We had such a great time and just wanted to
say thank you. Everything was great, the room, the walk to
the river, the breakfast. About the breakfast I was
wondering if you could give me the recipe for the omelets,
that was the best omelet I have had in a long time even at a
restaurant. Also we wondering if you could tell us what kind
of body soap you had in the bathroom, it was round and light
green and had a leaf on the wrapper We both really liked it.
Again, that you for such a nice weekend

My husband and I recently returned
home from a weekend at your B&B. I must say, I wanted
to turn around and stay a week more! I got right on the
phone to tell my parents about it. The suite was so
spotless and crispy clean. I felt relaxed because
everything was as clean as if I kept it myself. (And
I'm picky!) The food was nothing short of spectacular,
with hearty portions, home-cooked freshness, and
beautiful presentation. The view from our suite was so
breathtaking, I will not soon forget it. When I get too
stressed, I just pull up the photo of that snow covered
mountain, and look forward to going back to peace and
quiet. Thanks for giving my husband and I "our place."
You are very blessed to own such a corner of Heaven on
Earth, and thank you for sharing that with others who
need a place to escape to.
Also, I like the
fact that your B&B stays true to the landscape and
environment around it. It suits the element, and lets
one experience the whole Northwest style of ranch life.
Sincerely, Joe and Georgia 3/07
I just wanted to thank you for
the wonderful weekend that we experienced at your bed and
breakfast. The room was wonderful and fit our needs
perfectly, since I always get up very early I could do that
without bothering Randy. In fact I got so engrossed in one
of your books that I went t a used book store as soon as I
got home and bought a copy for myself. The breakfasts were
delicious and fun.
Thank you for sharing your home and property with us; we had
a wonderful time and I really relaxed. We hope to visit you
again
Kind Regards,
Pamela and Randy 09/06
